Infrastructure: UK transport networks
We provide day-to-day services and emergency site support for UK infrastructure management corporations and governing bodies. This includes the maintenance and protection of the land, trees, and vegetation that surrounds railways, roads, highways, seaports, and airports.
Our trained professionals focus on large scale-vegetation clearance, regional multi-year vegetation management maintenance programmes, ecological mitigation and enhancement, fencing/boundary construction, and ongoing maintenance.
We deploy local specialist teams to deliver work safely, on time, and with minimum disruption to adjacent residential communities and natural habitats.
When working on infrastructure, we aim to:
- Minimise the business and ecological impacts
- Ensure routine, critical and emergency works are completed safely and efficiently
- Protect wildlife and support biodiversity net gain
- Focus on the clients and consult with neighbouring residents and stakeholders to reduce the potential impacts of any works
Our in-house ecologists can support and measure biodiversity net gain, with a data-driven approach to support clients and recommend actions such as pollinator pathways along rail and line sides, wildflower meadows at stations, and replacement tree planting to mitigate flood risk and sequester carbon.
All our services are supported by our Queens Award-winning app TotalView, a live-from-site reporting system, that gives customers peace of mind work is being completed to the highest level of safety and quality.
We work with Network Rail, National Highways, Transport Scotland, trunk road agencies, and rail operating companies across England, Wales, and Scotland, plus local authorities everywhere to keep Great Britain moving.
