Tilly Hawkins, Estimator, has been announced in Pro Landscaper’s 2024 edition of their ‘30 Under 30: The Next Generation’ list. Since its inception in 2015, “the initiative has been helping propel winners into the landscaping limelight” and marks a fantastic achievement in Tilly's career with Ground Control.

Tilly’s progression from assistant to trainee, to full-time estimator has been the result of not just hard work within the business, but also taking advantage of training, site visits and industry opportunities. Tilly's fast progression has been accompanied by her advocacy for women in construction, whilst also supporting outreach events for younger generations, to help them understand what the landscaping industry can offer.

On receiving the award, Tilly shared:

Thank you to Pro Landscaper for including me in this year's list, I am incredibly proud to see my name alongside some great individuals. Every day in my role I am fortunate to see projects come to life, and as I progress throughout my career, I want to make a positive impact on both women in construction and future generations looking to join the industry.

Paul Perrins, Head of Estimating, added his congratulations:

Well done Tilly. This is a fantastic achievement and well deserved. I have been lucky enough to see all your hard work over the past few years and am excited to see your career at Ground Control continue to flourish.
