Ground Control highly commended by VINCI Facilities for Environmental Impact

Awarded at the 2024 VINCI Facilities Supply Chain awards

Ground Control has been Highly Commended in the “Environmental Impact” category at the 2024 VINCI Facilities Supply Chain awards in recognition of works completed over the last financial year.

The awards recognise the key role that our suppliers play in delivering excellent service to VINCI Facilities customers throughout the UK.

The Environmental Impact category celebrates companies that contribute towards improving the living environment and work to develop sustainable solutions with VINCI Facilities. Throughout the judging period, Ground Control completed a variety of works including, vegetation management, ecology and tree surveys, and tree works to support day-to-day operations, on-site safety and landscaping enhancements.

Complimenting these works are biodiversity enhancements, partnerships and volunteering opportunities at the Wildfell Centre for Environmental Recovery, a 296-acre site for biodiversity net gain that closely aligns with VINCI Facilities environmental goals and objectives.

The success at the VINCI Facilities Supply Chain awards comes a week after a successful night at the Essex Housing Award, where the Wildfell Centre for Environmental Recovery was awarded the Environmental Impact award.
