We’re excited to share the fantastic achievement of Wayne Gorman, a SEND individual (special educational needs and disabilities) who recently sat and passed his PA1 test at Rodbaston College with an impressive score of 88%.

Roy and Wayne with the award certification

The PA1 (Safe Use of Pesticides) test is an essential industry accreditation, and we’re proud of both Wayne and the team around him at the college and Ground Control who supported.

Wayne’s mentor Roy Candlin (Area Manager) added:

As you all know for most employees sitting these qualifications might seem like a normal part of the job, but for Wayne this was massive. It has been 12 months of training, which has all paid off. Well done Wayne

Wayne will now continue with his PA6 training and final assessment, and we look forward to hearing more of his successes as part of our GC family.
