Chris Howell

Chris joined Ground Control in September 2022 as Chief Information Officer to lead the technology and data functions.

Chris has been working in technology for 20 years in the retail, airport, and publishing industries. His experience of leading technology functions and transformation initiatives combined with his scale-up experience from Tesco.com made him a good match for the ambition of Ground Control.

Chris is very excited about the opportunity at Ground Control.

He describes his role as:

'providing others with the information they need to deliver to their colleagues and their clients.'

Chris passionately believes that the combination of data and technology has the potential to enhance society as well as deliver commercial returns.

Chris studied at Churchill College, University of Cambridge, and has a degree in Economics.

He lives in London and is an active member of his local cricket club.
