At Housing 2023, the inaugural Unlock Net Zero Live Awards ceremony recognised and championed progress on the journey to decarbonisation for the UK housing sector and the supply chain that supports it.
Entrants to this award were required to show how they have enhanced a place and/or community through the promotion of biodiversity and nature between January 2021 and March 2023.
Wildfell Centre for Environmental Recovery
The Wildfell Centre for Environmental Recovery is the biggest landscape scale nature-recovery project Ground Control has undertaken in its 50-year history. Made possible by an initial £2m Evergreen Fund investment, the transformation of this ex-arable farm will provide a showcase of Biodiversity Net Gain and Carbon Sequestration design, delivery, and management innovation in action.
